Why the Gulf South is different
Mold is a national problem — Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, pooling US studies, found that around 47% of US homes have dampness or mold. That is houses, not people — about a coin flip on any given street.
Along this corridor it is worse, and the reason is simply the air. Louisiana is one of the most humid states in the country, and a house here spends the whole year trying to shed moisture rather than a few weeks of it.
When the CDC inspected 112 New Orleans homes, 45.5% had visible mold growth — and 17% had heavy coverage across more than half of the worst-affected wall.
That is why the causes we find here are not the ones people expect. It is rarely a dramatic leak. It is an air conditioner that cools without dehumidifying, an attic running 40 degrees hotter than it should, the wrong filter in the return — small things that add up until the house cannot keep ahead of the humidity.

A price before work starts. Our minimum is $600, most projects fall between $1,000 and $5,000, and the ranges are published rather than quoted after a sales visit.

Mold is all we do — but we can handle the whole job
Those two things sound like they contradict each other. They do not, and the difference matters when you are the one living in the house.
We only do mold. No water, fire, storm or reconstruction divisions. One trade, one region, and all of our attention on the part that most companies treat as a line item.
But mold is rarely just a mold problem. Something made the house wet, and something has to put the house back together afterwards. So rather than removing the mold and handing you a list of people to call, we work with a group of specialists and coordinate the whole thing through one point of contact:
Master HVAC technicians
When the air conditioning caused it, correcting the system is the only thing that stops it coming back.
Attic ventilation specialists
A company that does nothing else. If your attic is driving humidity down into the house, that gets fixed at the source.
General contractors, roofers and rebuild crews
Remediation takes material out. These are the people who put it back — drywall, trim, paint, flooring, roofing.
And you are not paying a markup for the coordination. The standard practice in this industry is for a restoration company to take a subcontractor’s bid, add ten to forty percent as overhead and profit, submit that as its own price, and then subcontract the work anyway. We do not do that — you pay our partners’ own prices, and several of them discount further for our customers.
So: one call, one company answering for it, specialists doing each part, and no margin stacked on top of the trades. That is what we mean by mold only.

Do you work in Mississippi?
Yes. Mississippi does not have mold licensing requirements, and we work the Gulf Coast from Bay St. Louis through Gulfport and Biloxi.
Do you charge extra for travel?
The evaluation is free anywhere in the service area. If a job is far enough out that travel affects the price, we tell you that before you agree to anything rather than after.
